About Us
Our primary focus here at Kai Mountain Photography is weddings. But we do all manner of photography including engagements, events, portraits, passports, visas, and more. (We've even done mugshots for some police in Asia...) Point being, we can probably help you get the photographs you need and want at a price you are willing to pay.
I've been shooting photography for about 15 years, and have been shooting professionally for the past three. I've worked weddings from Montana to China, and back again.
My style is an out of the way, fly-on-the-wall, catch-the-candids variety. I love to get out of the way, and let couples concentrate on the joyful events of their Big Day. No one wants to have to think about all the dull details of getting the right picture at the right time. You have too much going on to stress about that.
People look their best when they are relaxed, and we strive to elicit that during the more "posed" portion of a shoot (ie, the formal photos of the wedding party when everyone is saying "are we done yet? I want to eat!") But please don't take this to mean I won't do what needs to be done to get the photos that you and I both want!
